Fei Ji, Ph.D., joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. (SCI) in 2008. She is a member of the American Statistical Association and the American Society of Human Genetics.
Before joining SCI, Dr. Ji worked at the Rockefeller University (2004–2008) as a Senior Research Associate with responsibilities in grant application, methodology development, and the analysis and reporting of results for projects. She published 12 papers in peer reviewed journals and one book chapter in the field of statistical genetics, and she reviewed papers for statistical journals. She also tutored summer students to compete in the Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology and the Intel Science Talent Search.
Dr. Ji received her B.S. in Biophysics and Physiology from Peking University, Beijing, China (1997). She received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at the State University of New York, Stony Brook (2001, 2004). Her dissertation was titled “Linkage Analysis of a Disease Related Trait Using a Pleiotropic Model”.
