Mark Schactman, M.S., M.H.S. joined Statistics Collaborative in 2007. He received his B.S. in Engineering and B.A. in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis (1988), his M.S. in Engineering (Operations Research) from Johns Hopkins University (1990), and his M.H.S. in Biostatistics from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (2000).
Prior to joining the Statistics Collaborative, Mr. Schactman was the Director of Statistical Programming at HHI Clinical Research (1998-2006) [now inVentiv Clinical Solutions]; Manager of Biostatistics at Guilford Pharmaceuticals (1996-1998); Biostatistician at the Maryland Medical Research Institute (MMRI) (1993-1996); and Research Statistician at the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (1991-1993).
He is a member of the Society for Clinical Trials, American Statistical Association and Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health.
