Michael Bumstead, M.S. is a Biostatistician at Statistics Collaborative, Inc. He is currently a member of the American Statistical Association, the Society for Clinical Trials, and the International Biometric Society (ENAR).
Before joining Statistics Collaborative in 2005, he served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada (2004); a Trading and Portfolio Management Analyst (Co-op) at Ontario Power Generation (2003); a Research Analyst (Co-op) at Health Canada (2002); an Analysis / Reporting Assistant (Co-op) at Ontario Power Generation (2002); and a Tax Data Analyst (Co-op) at Statistics Canada (2001).
He received his B.S. in Honors Applied Mathematics and Statistics (Co-op) from the University of Guelph (2003) and his M.S. in Statistics from the University of Guelph (2004). His Master’s project, which was applied to clinical data from a study comparing two methods of labor induction, was titled, “Tests of Equivalence”.
