Maggie Langhamer, MPH

Statistical Team Leader

Maggie Langhamer, M.P.H., joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. (StatCollab) in 2017. She is a member of the International Biometric Society – Eastern North American Region.

At StatCollab, Ms. Langhamer works on clinical trials in a number of therapeutic areas. As a biostatistician on these studies, she programs datasets and statistical analyses, writes general-use SAS macros to enhance efficiency across programs, generates graphs, tables, and listings, and validates program code.

Ms. Langhamer has served as the reporting statistician and project manager for trials evaluating treatments for polycystic kidney disease, pediatric diabetes, head and neck cancer, and coronavirus disease. In this role, Ms. Langhamer drafts report templates, analysis plans, and charters, leads teams of programming staff to generate interim safety and efficacy reports, presents reports to Data Monitoring Committees (DMCs), serves as the main point-of-contact for study sponsors and DMCs, and manages project budgets.

In addition to her work reporting to DMCs, Ms. Langhamer contributes to writing statistical analysis plans and prepares and audits CDISC-compliant ADaM datasets and documentation for FDA submission.

Prior to joining StatCollab, Ms. Langhamer was a Graduate Research Assistant with the Global Immunization Division at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention performing analyses on data related to routine immunization service utilization in Africa. She completed her master’s practicum at the National Cancer Institute where she was involved in research on infectious agents and cancer.

She received her B.S. magna cum laude in Biology with a double major in French and Francophone studies from Villanova University (2015) and her M.P.H. in Epidemiology from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University (2017). Her culminating experience research project for her M.P.H. was titled “Association between biliary tract cancers and family history of cancers in the Biliary Tract Cancers Pooling Project (BiTCaPP).”
