Alexandra Parfitt, MS, PhD joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. (StatCollab) in 2021. She is a member of the American Statistical Association and of R-Ladies Philly.
At StatCollab, Dr. Parfitt has worked with clinical trials assessing treatments in a variety of disease areas, including dementia, melanoma, diabetic neuropathy, hemophilia, and methamphetamine use disorder. As a biostatistician, she helps draft statistical analysis plans and performs analyses, generates graphs, tables, and listings, and validates program code.
She received dual A.B. degrees in Comparative Literature and Germanic Studies from the University of Chicago in 2002, her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Yale University in 2010, and her M.S. in Applied Statistics from Villanova University in 2020. Prior to joining StatCollab, she taught French at Villanova University and performed financial research for the fundraising departments at Yale University and Temple University.
