Emma Block, M.S., joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. (StatCollab) in 2020.
At StatCollab, Ms. Block has worked with clinical trials evaluating treatments in a range of disease areas, including schizophrenia, multiple myeloma, bladder cancer, head and neck cancer, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and COVID-19. In her role as a biostatistician on these studies, she performs statistical analyses, generates graphs, tables, and listings, and validates program code for DMC and futility reports.
Ms. Block received her B.S. in Management with a major in Marketing and minors in Mathematics and Public Health from Tulane University (2019). She received her M.S. in Applied Biostatistics from Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) in 2020. During her time at BUSPH, Ms. Block was involved in research on chronic traumatic encephalopathy. She completed the practical training component of her MS degree at Pfizer Inc. as a Statistical Programming and Analysis Intern.
