Lauren Becker, M.S., joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. (SCI) in 2014.
Ms. Becker joined SCI as a Research Assistant, providing support to project teams for clinical trials in a range of disease areas, including multiple myeloma, prostate and breast cancer, type II diabetes, and Alzheimer’s disease. She assisted project managers in preparing safety monitoring reports for Data Monitoring Committees (DMCs), designing table and figure shells, and managing communications with DMC members and sponsor teams. As she gained experience, Ms. Becker learned SAS programming in order to develop and validate datasets and presentations, took on a larger coordination role on her projects, and pursued her graduate degree.
As a Statistical Programmer and Biostatistician, Ms. Becker has provided statistical support for clinical trials in areas such as oncology, type II diabetes, HIV control, systemic lupus erythematosus, and myocardial infarction. She programs datasets and statistical analyses and validates SAS program code.
Ms. Becker received her B.S. in Biology from The College of William and Mary (2012) and her M.S. in Biostatistics from The George Washington University (2019).
