Ling Bai, M.S., Ph.D., joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. (SCI) in 2016.
At SCI, Dr. Bai has worked with clinical trials evaluating treatments for cancers, neurological disorders, metabolic diseases, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. She has also been involved with trials of vaccines. As a biostatistician, she programs datasets, performs statistical analyses, generates graphs, tables, and listings, and validates program code. Dr. Bai has served as a team member for data monitoring committee (DMC) work and a programming specialist on a consulting project.
Prior to joining SCI, Dr. Bai worked as a student intern at the Food and Drug Administration, performing statistical analyses on Patient Reported Outcomes in medical device clinical trials. She also worked as a data scientist at the National Institutes of Health, performing medical research portfolio analyses, and was a Cancer Research Training Award Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, conducting genetic and biological research in breast cancer metastasis.
She received her B.S. in Biology from Beijing University, China (2001), her Ph.D. in Plant Biology from Cornell University (2007), and her M.S. in Statistics from The George Washington University (2016).
