Rose Steenstra, M.P.H. joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. (SCI) in 2019.
At SCI, Ms. Steenstra has worked with clinical trials evaluating treatments in a range of disease areas, including multiple myeloma, lung cancer, Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, familial hypercholesterolemia, venous and arterial thrombotic disorder, and melanoma. In her role as a biostatistician on these studies, she performs statistical analyses, generates graphs, tables, and listings, and validates program code for DMC and futility reports.
She received her B.M. in Music Education from Ithaca College (2015) and her M.P.H. in Biostatistics from The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health (2019). She completed her master’s practicum at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation where she investigated adverse pregnancy outcomes in HIV positive pregnant women. Her master’s thesis was titled “Association between timing of antiretroviral therapy initiation and adverse pregnancy outcomes in Lesotho, 2016-2019”.
