Rupsi Pal, M.S., Ph.D., joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. (StatCollab) in 2016. She is a member of the American Statistical Association.
At StatCollab, Dr. Pal has worked on safety and efficacy analysis and presentations for projects in several disease areas, including multiple myeloma, sepsis, hospital-acquired pneumonia, breast cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and cardiovascular disease. She is the project manager and independent reporting statistician in trials related to neovascular age-related macular degeneration and multiple myeloma. In this role, she manages project staff, helps with writing statistical analysis reports, and communicates with clients and DMC members. She also works as a statistical consultant and develops statistical analysis plans and Phase 1/ 2 trial designs.
Prior to joining StatCollab, she was an intern in the test quality and statistics group at DuPont where she analyzed field trial data for crop protection products. As a postdoctoral fellow at the Naval Research Laboratory, she was on a team developing a model for general circulation called the “Hybrid Coordinate Ocean Model”.
She received her B.S. in Physics from the University of Calcutta (2001), her M.S. in Physics from Jadavpur University (2003), and her Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Delaware (2009). She received her M.S. in Statistics from the University of Delaware in 2016.
