Sharon Eichorn, M.P.H., joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. (StatCollab) in 2014 as a Research Assistant, providing support to project teams for clinical trials in a range of disease areas, including breast cancer, hematologic malignancies, chronic motor deficit after stroke, and HIV. She assisted project managers in preparing safety monitoring reports for Data Monitoring Committees (DMCs), designing table and figure shells, and managing communications with DMC members and sponsor teams. As she gained experience, Ms. Eichorn learned SAS programming in order to develop and validate datasets and presentations, assumed a larger coordination role on her projects, and pursued her graduate degree.
As a Senior Statistical Programmer, Ms. Eichorn has provided statistical support for clinical trials in areas such as melanoma, pulmonary hypertension, Huntington’s disease, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer’s disease. She programs datasets and statistical analyses and validates SAS program code.
Ms. Eichorn received her B.A. summa cum laude in Psychology from The Catholic University of America (2014) and received her M.P.H. in Epidemiology from The George Washington University (2021).
