Shuiqing Liu, M.H.S., joined Statistics Collaborative, Inc. (SCI) in 2017. She is a member of the Society for Clinical Trials.
At SCI, Ms. Liu has worked with clinical trials in a range of disease areas, including breast cancer, glioblastoma, melanoma, systemic lupus erythematosus, cardiovascular disease, hematological disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and type 2 diabetes. As a biostatistician, she programs datasets, performs statistical analyses, generates graphs, tables, and listings, validates program code, assists in the development of statistical analysis plans, and writes meeting minutes.
Prior to joining SCI, Ms. Liu served as a research assistant for the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins University. In this position, she worked on systematic reviews and meta-analysis projects evaluating treatments for diabetes and atrial fibrillation. She also worked for the Cochrane Eyes and Vision Group on projects related to treatments for glaucoma. She was a teaching assistant for the graduate level course sequence Statistical Methods in Public Health I‑III.
Ms. Liu received her M.B.B.S. in Preventive Medicine from Peking University (2014) and her M.H.S. in Epidemiology (concentration in Clinical Epidemiology) from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (2016).
